After reading the previous review I decided to make a trip to this cafe. I had a totally different experience ( granted there are good days and bad days in this business).
This was a good day. I like to have a caffe latte followed by an espresso in the morning. I also like biscotti. I ordered the latte and a choc hazelnut biscotti )4.50 for both which is pretty cheap considering most places charge that for just the coffee. They were both very good. The girl was working alone (sign of independent coffee house) which I prefer. There were about 10 other people who seemed to be enjoying it as well.
I went back around 500 for a piece of lasagna and was impressed.
My guest who was from Calgary also seemed pleased and a place like this would do well in Calgary.
I guess like everything else it depends which way the moon's face is glowing. Different people experience different expectations and treatment.
I left a satisfied customer and will defineatley be back soon

DO NOT GO HERE!! My husband and I live close to this cafe and decided to go in and had a terrible experience! heres why
Slow service, the woman working was rude to us when we asked what was in the egg nog latte...
When we tried to make small talk about the place she told us that she was the owner and then ignored us and went and sat down with other people she knew in the middle of a conversation with her.
She didn't even finish taking our order and they don't even have debit? but they have an ATM so we had to pay to pay...
The music was some sort of Rap hip hop with swearing which was in addition to the constant swearing done by her and her friends...

bottom line its just not a nice place to go, the owner was rude and unprofessional, the coffee was gross and over priced, and the atmosphere is loud and vulgar.

I would never go there again and i would never recommend it to anyone!

This place is the best for italian coffee and panini's!!
