ok i was in stupied horrbile resturant . i hate the food my famliy got sick .i would never go there and the staff is very rude .

Excellent Food & Service

Any place that has buffet 7d week and that being east indian cant truly represent east indian food rather it respresents mc donalds,kfc.burger king u get the point is only fast food go to india and eat real fresh cooked indian food then u know what i talk of.

I work close to this restaurant and have gone several times for both lunch and dinner. The lunch buffet is the best Indian buffet I have had in Edmonton - the selection is the largest in town, and quality of what they do serve is superior and is clearly freshly prepared, not just left sitting there for hours. The dinner menu is varied, and includes some dishes I haven't found in other Indian places in Edmonton. I usually go for the chicken tikka masala, it's very creamy and tender and the yogurt and spices it's marinated in give it a kick. They have a whole assortment of wines too, but I recommend a bottle (or two) of Kingfisher Beer. The portions look small at first but you'd be surprised how filling they are I have a sizable appetite and even so I'm sometimes hard-pressed to finish my meal. The atmosphere and service are equally memorable. If you like Indian food and fine dining you shouldn't miss this place.

Anyone who loves good Indian food should make a beeline for this charming and largely undiscovered jewel of a restaurant. Hidden away within a south side plaza, Rasoi India offers up mouth-watering meat and vegetarian dishes in a good decor. For the newcomer to Indian dishes(curries), the menu can be a tad intimidating, but the food is well worth the risk and the friendly staff are there to help for the decision-impaired. Its the kind of place that immediately inspires you to tell everyone you know about it with missionary zeal.

Some one to taste real east indian food, this is the restaurant. Ellegant decoration and seating comfort, family dine in, very excellent food,

particularly chicken tikka was best and deliciour lamb curry, kashmiri nan and lachha paratha... you name it it is a mouth watering food.

I am traveling a lot for my business trips and I try out different ethnic restaurant. RASOI INDIA, I found exceptionally good food and service. I can say that I really enjoyed food at here. Large selection of buffet with wide choices. Very nice people and service. The day I had dinner buffet Fish PAkora and Tandoori chicken was in dinner buffet. Cooked to perfection and delicious taste. Planning to visit more business trip for Edmonton so I can enjoy this food often.

great quality food, certain veg dishes are only available here, like jalfrezi. has a very wide selection of menu and the menu does change on a daily basis unlike some other places where you see exact same menu everyday.

Horrible, terrible, and miserable are my comments on the food. Wish there was atleast one dish I could call authentic. The restaurant manager had the audacity to claim that what was fed to us is the perfect way of cooking. Can someone explain how burn't paratha, undercooked rice etc can be called authentic. Save yourselves by not going there.

Cook is very well known and awarded 5 spoon rating from Edmonton Sun for best Indian cook and 4 star rating from Edmonton Journal for BEst indian Cook in town.

Vegetables taste fantastic and mouth watering food.

Butter chicken is awesome.
