You can just tell that the comment on 16-04 was written by the proud owners of this poor excuse of arriba mexico try NOT being like a crab, pulling people down won't lift you up. And btw, the owner anger management issues? try owning a restaurant like this one, running it and working at it. And feeding your family off it. JEEZ

We went there last time and our expierence was very disappointed of the mexican food the flavour was very salty and also expensive so the end of our review it is not worth it to try this restaurant again !! Look for better options. Thanks

I'm a Mexican who's been living in Florida for the last 6 years, I came to Edmonton to visit a friend, he took me to this amazing authentic Mexican restaurant. Mexico Lindo I was really amazed with the quality and the flavor of everything I ate. I felt like I was at home eating my favorite food, it took me 3000 miles south in few seconds when I tried the Enchiladas, the Tamales, and the soft tacos, I almost went on tears for the emotion to have such a good Representation of our real Mexican Cuisine, Bravo.
The Canadians are very lucky to have people from my country serving this delicious dishes that I could not find in Florida.
Thank you very much to Borbolla Family who moved to Edmonton and opened this place to share and show to Canada the Real Mexican Food.

To reply the latest review, let me tell you something, I am Mexican and of course I have the full capacity to recognize and distinguish between a Mexican food to the ORIGINAL mexican flavors, and It's not matter of money it's about quality in food and customer service, So just to clarify I know Taco Bell is Junk food, so you should try the food of Arriba Mexico Restaurant.

Give me a break, this past review has nothing to do with this wonderful restaurant, what is the matter with you. If you don't have the capacity of enjoy this amazing Mexican dishes, better go to taco bell, where you can get inexpensive dishes. This restaurant for you knowledge is on of the top ten restaurants in Edmonton. We are very proud to have this family here so we can try the most authentic Mexican food in town.

I went to this mexican restaurant and I can say 1st, the prices for the small portions of food are VERY EXPENSIVE, 2nd the customer service (server)it's REALLY BAD, he gets upset if you have some concerns about it and 3rd it IS NOT REAL MEXICAN FOOD, the taste it's more like spanish dishes!!! anyways the conclusion is this restaurant it's not worth it, you better take other options as the one located in White Ave(Arriba Mexico) excellent mexican food !!!!

I went to this amazing restaurant a few days ago after listening to my friends BRAG about it. They were absolutely right about its good quality and taste. My husband and I lived in Mexico for two years, and being there we got used to the food. Now that we're back we miss it like crazy, I do know how mexican food tastes like.I dont understand how they got authentic flavours up here in cold Canada! I might even dare say that this restaurant is better than in Mexico, they're sure cleaner. We don't like american-sized meals, we rather have a few well-proportioned dishes full of exciting flavours. If there's one thing that I personally look at is the washroon cleanliness. And in Mexico Lindo they're spotless.

it is very sad to readgthe kind of reviews like the one posted on 16-04-2009. i can imagine him or her cooking at their home. hamburgers or allready prepared meals for this kind of people i recomended to stay at home and dont harmed good restaurants in Edmonton.

OVERPRICED, TASTELESS, WASTE OF TIME!

It is hard to find a decent restaurant in Edmonton and Mexico Lindo is definitely NOT WORTH IT! Four of us went there based on recommendations from past customers, we were completely disappointed. The portions were small, the prices were ridiculous, and the food was tasteless. All the meat dishes were overcooked to the point of being tough and rubbery. The sauces had no taste and a watery texture. Paying $15 for a plate of white rice, black beans with 1/2 a cup of pork cubes squeezed onto the side was such a disappointment. I cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

Food was good. The waiter (owner i think) was not very accomodating, anger management issues.
