I never write reviews but this restaurant has actually inspired me to warn others before they waste their time and money!! Truly, I do not mind paying the price for a good meal, but holy cow, I am surprised these guys don't have to pay people to eat here! Unbelievably garbage food, unbelievably garbage service, I am seriously surprised they are still in business, must get a lot of one-time customers to keep this dirty dive alive!! YUCK!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Edmonton, AB... Many good nights and lots of good food. I recommend to friends all the time if we are looking for a good night out.

Ok, there are a few advantages and disadvantages of this restaurant. One, the food isn't bad if you order the right stuff, but their menu items ARE a bit overpriced. Two, if you're gonna go to CoCoDi's, I'd say it's a place better for college students who want a place to chill and study while smoking a hookah of shisha. Three, if the service was that bad, either you're a jerk, someone who gives off the wrong vibe to people, or just deserve to be treated as such.

Even still, I wouldn't really reccomend CoCoDi's for the food, I would just reccomend having a couple beer, get yourself a hookah of shisha *I love the strawberry kind*, grab a book with a few friends to study and chat, or just go there to hang out in general.

Overall? Fairly good I'd say, and I had excellent service.
Fish and chips are excellent, too.

I'm not one to usually bother with writing reviews but I am still in disbelief at how awful the food and service was at this restaurant. We were a large party of people there on a Friday night, sitting outside, they had very few customers. When I asked for a non-alcoholic cocktail the waiter brought me a glass of warm mango juice (they charged me $4.50 for this). My boyfriend on the enthusiastic recommendation of the waiter ordered a special Lebanese sausage appetizer. This turned out to be a small bowl of fried ground lamb mixed with diced tomatoes, literally swimming in oil. This with pita bread cost $12.95 (and he had an upset stomach the next day) I only wanted a snack and asked for a small plate of chips, which i think was the best-cooked food of the night. When the bill came the waiter informed me with a shrug that 'they had charged me the price for a full bowl of chips ($5)' and he couldn't get them to charge a lesser price. For a juice, chips, my boyfriend's dish and a beer the bill came to $38 before a tip.
I don't mind poor service if the food is good, but I just can't believe it is possible to deliberately cook that badly. Makes me mad because they have a prime location and venue in the heart of downtown and that could be such a great place to go to.

After such a yummy meal and a relaxing evening last week at the restaurant, we decided to return to Co Co Di for another dinner. Good call on our part. We had a great assortment of foods, experienced friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere, and once again left the reataurant feeling very satisfied.

We went to the Co Co Di Restaurant last night and had a wonderful dinner. The food was plentiful and delicious. And at a very reasonable price. Staff were very pleasant andhelpful, and the service was good. I would gladly go there again. This is a particularly good location for a tasty and inexpensive dinner before attending something at the Winspear.

We visited Coco Di last night with friends. I must say I went with trepidation after having read some terrible reviews of it on the Net the night before. THEY ARE ALL WRONG! We all had delicious meals that were presented nicely and in a most timely manner. This is not at all what I was expecting, but I am happy to say I (and all of us in attendance last night) will happily return for more of the food, the service, and the relaxed dining atmosphere.

I disagree with the previous person's comments. I've been there many time. The chicken/ beef/ lamb kabob or shawarma sandeiches swerved with salad or fries is 9.95 and the kabob platter with rice and salad is 14.95.
I think Co Co Dis has the healthiest food and great atmosphere.

I agree with the previous person's comments.

I've been there twice, and always end up getting something different from what I ordered.

the prices are so exagerated compared to the surrounding. e.g. you pay 13.95 for a 'sandwish' of 1 skewer of chicken, whereas in many neighboring restaurants, you get a 'plate' with 2 skewers for less than the same amount.

Co Co Di has probably the single worst service I've ever experienced out of any restaurant I've ever been anywhere in the world. Order errors and serving delays abound. Two of my coworkers and I went there for lunch on 17 May, 2006, and waited 45 minutes before finally being served. One in our party ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and received a sandwich that wasn't beef. In fact, the meat looked like pork--- which is not even on the menu--- and the sandwich bore very little resemblance to anything even close to a Philly. The falafels were dry and the tabbouleh was mostly made of parsley with very little grain. All in all I wouldn't recommend this restaurant even to someone I hated. Avoid at all costs. Consider going around the corner to Renoir's instead. It's worth the extra twenty steps. Co Co Di's get's a zero out of five for this trip. I have no idea how the place can even stay open. I've made my first and last venture there.
